Description

Registration required.

In 2024, the Library will be hosting several Indigenous Authors as part of an author series. These authors will join us to read from their recent works.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Niigaanwewidam Sinclair will be in Thunder Bay at the Brodie Resource Library's Indigenous Knowledge Centre for a reading on Thursday, October 10 at 6:00pm.

Niigaan Sinclair is one of Canada's most influential thinkers on Indigenous cultures and reconciliation. Niigaan will be reading from his latest National Bestseller, "Wînipêk, Visions of Canada from an Indigenous Centre." This powerful collection of stories, observations, and thoughts delves into the complex history and contributions of Winnipeg, presenting radical solutions for injustice and celebrating the resilience of Indigenous peoples.

Registration opens September 26th at 9:30AM. Only 100 seats available.

This series is supported by the K.M. Hunter Charitable Foundation.
